Richardson is expected to return at some point during training camp, but Steichen wouldn't put a timetable on the er's recovery. The Colts don't expect the injury to require surgery.

Richardson is expected to compete for the Colts' starting job with Daniel Jones, who signed a one-year deal with the club in March.
Injuries have been an issue for Richardson, as he's only appeared in 15 games since being drafted fourth overall in 2023. The 23-year-old completed 50.6% of his es for 2,391 yards and 11 touchdowns against 13 interceptions in those contests.
