A hole-in-one on a par 3 is an incredibly notable achievement for professional and amateur golfers alike, but an ace on a par 4 is the stuff of legends.
Max Homa came just short of accomplishing that feat Friday at the PGA Championship, hitting an incredible drive on the 341-yard par-4 14th that ended up inches from the cup.
The tap-in eagle was part of an electric first nine holes for Homa in Round 2, with the American posting a 6-under 30 to make the turn just two strokes off the lead.
