The Atlanta Hawks are finalizing deals to bring on New Orleans Pelicans general manager Bryson Graham as senior vice president of basketball operations and Philadelphia 76ers executive Peter Dinwiddie as senior vice president of strategy and analytics, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania. 583a4z
Graham ed the Pelicans' front office as a basketball operations intern for the 2010-11 campaign. He served multiple roles with the franchise before being named general manager last offseason.
New Orleans fired executive vice president David Griffin in April and replaced him with Joe Dumars.
Dinwiddie has worked for the 76ers since October 2020, and he previously spent 14 seasons with the Indiana Pacers.
The Hawks fired general manager Landry Fields in April after missing the playoffs with a 40-42 record. Atlanta instantly promoted assistant general manager Onsi Saleh into the role.
Graham and Dinwiddie will report to Saleh, sources told Charania. Atlanta continues to look for a president of basketball operations and reportedly intends that any potential hire will complement Saleh and his staff.
The first challenge facing the Hawks' new front office is a decision regarding star guard Trae Young, who's eligible for an extension this offseason.
